Biography:
For several decades I lectured in British universities on English Literature with a particular research focus on the eighteenth century and the Romantic period. Individual authors on whom I have published books or articles include Johnson, Cowper, Godwin, Barbauld, Burney, Wordsworth and Blake.
Throughout my career I have published my own poetry both in magazines and in book form (four volumes to date). In the current century my teaching focus switched to creative writing and I have since published three novels as Kindle e-books. Currently I combine research on William Blake's poetry with work on a further historical novel.
