Biography:

I am currently a doctoral candidate. I hold a Bachelor's degree and two Master's degrees. One in history and the other in international politics. My master's and doctoral degrees were earned over in Europe, giving me international educational experience.
I have extensive academic accolades. I earned Highest Honors in my second Master's degree. I was also on the Dean's List twice during my undergraduate studies.
Outside of academia, I have been a member of the Cleveland Council on World Affairs since 2009 and I regularly attend their Foreign Policy Forums by major leaders.
I have also been an active member and trainer of the local Community Emergency Response Team since 2007. I currently serve as its Secretary.
I previously sat on the Hall Council as the Director of Public Relations during my undergraduate studies in 2002-2003.
I have been asked to be a peer reviewer for two history articles and I served as a judge for the High School Essay Contest for the Cleveland City Club.
I have also had several pieces of work published and republished.

Current research areas:

My doctoral research consists of refuting the imperial thesis within American diplomatic history at the turn of the twentieth century by reinterpreting, recontextualizing, and resituating American foreign policy towards Latin America in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, circa 1890s-1910s, through a thorough and detailed exegetical analysis of the archival sources by using Cuba as a case study.

Recent scholarly activity:

I am working on turning my doctoral thesis into a manuscript and several articles.
