Biography:
Nicholas Rowe is dual fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and the Society for Education and Training. His main interests lie in scientific communication and doctoral development. A fully qualified university educationalist, he has lectured internationally and published a range of related academic works as an independent realist researcher, including texts with Wiley, Springer and Routledge, and articles in top academic and professional journals. In 2010 he moved to Finnish Lapland for family reasons, where he runs a specialist academic editing service for ESOL speakers. He is currently investigating the power structures and practices of the international academy.
