Biography:
Gianncarlo Muschi earned a PhD in History from the University of Houston, Texas where he worked as a lecturer in U.S. History. Dr. Muschi also holds an MA in Sociology from the same university. Dr. Muschi investigates topics related to international migration, Latin American history, and U.S.-Latin American relations with an emphasis in South America. Dr. Muschi has published articles related to the Latino migrant musical scene in Houston and presented on U.S. Latin American immigration at conferences in Germany, Mexico, and the United States.
