Biography:
Dr. Keren Epstein-Gilboa is a Registered Nurse and Registered Psychotherapist with a PhD in Developmental Psychology. Her clinical work and academic experience spans over 40 years. Her experience includes childbirth education (FACCE, LCCE) and birth support, lactation consulting (IBCLC, RLC), pre-school teaching and individual, couple as well as family psychotherapy. Her clinical background is apparent in her research interests. She studies and has publications regarding the physiological and psychological continuum of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, infancy, early childhood and parenting. Her analysis of events includes but is not limited to relational, physiological, neurobiological, systemic, ethical and feminist perspectives. Dr. Epstein-Giboa's experience also includes work as a university lecturer and instructor. Her courses reflect her research and clinical background. She continues to work in all areas in her private practice as well as in collaborative projects.
