We are delighted to announce that the first winner of the Amanda Haste Award is George R. Matthews. The Amanda Haste Award is the latest addition to our NCIS grants program, and covers third-party professional services (e.g. indexing, translation, etc.) to support members' research and publication. In this case, the funds were used to hire a cartographer to draw three maps to complete the book manuscript of Billy the Kid: New Territory, Beyond Myth and Legend.
