Dr. Ikechukwu Anthony Kanu, O.S.A: Ikechukwu is a friar of the Order of Saint Augustine of the Province of Nigeria.  He is a Professor of Religion and Cultural Studies at Tansian University, Umunya.  Prior to Tansian, he served as Dean of Students at the International Bio-Research Institute, Enugu. His academic initiatives include the International Journal of African Studies and Sustainable Development (IJASSD) and Igwebuikepedia: Internet Encyclopedia of African Philosophy (IIEAP).  He has written 50 books and presented more than 162 papers at National and International conferences.

Dr. Sheilamae Ablay: Born in Manila, Sheilamae grew up in San Diego, California.  Her immigrant background drew her to study the politics of immigrant exclusion in the US while an undergraduate at the University of California, Irvine.  In graduate school at  Ohio State University, she took a turn and examined immigrants themselves and their propensities to participate in American political life given various contexts that may either encourage or hinder their political participation.  She continues to write and think about immigrants, now focusing on the Filipina/o Diaspora in the Middle East. Currently, she lives in central Turkey with her husband and two young sons.
