CONFERENCE SUPPORT GRANT
Awarded: US$ 600 to Giancarlo Muschi, to present paper “Tala DeWynter: activista peruana promotora del bilingüismo en los Estados Unidos” at the Biography and Latin American Lives session of the 70th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Council of Latin American Studies Conference in Antigua, Guatemala, in March 2023.
 
RESEARCH SUPPORT GRANT
Awarded:  US$ 600 to Susan Breitzer towards her research project “Beyond a Higher Power: American Religious Responses to the 1918 Influenza Pandemic”. Funds requested to facilitate travel, access and utilization of resources in Washington, DC.  
 
SPECIAL RESEARCH SUPPORT GRANTS
Total awarded: approx. US$ 670, comprising up to US$ 150 to each of the following awardees:

AMANDA HASTE AWARD
Awarded:  US$600 to George Matthews, towards hiring services of a cartographer to produce maps to be used in a biography of Billy the Kid.
