Dr. Wanda Burch  earned her BA in history at the University of Memphis and a Master’s degree in museum administration at the State University of New York. She also took courses in architectural history at Oxford University. She is currently preparing a book on the social history of Johnson Hall, the
18th century home and business center of Sir William Johnson, British Superintendent of Indian Affairs for the New York Colony. She has written numerous historical articles and presented at conferences on place-based history. For example, in 2000, she gave a paper on 18th century gardens in the Mohawk Valley,
For these and other efforts, she won a lifetime achievement award from the Upstate History Alliance in New York.

Dr. John McCreery earned a. B.A. in philosophy from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in anthropology from Cornell. He is a partner at The Word Works and was a visiting professor at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan in Spring 2017, Spring 2018, and Fall 2019.  He has published articles on ethnology (American Ethnologist 1995) and topics in the sociology of Japan.

Dr. Helen Kara is a professional researcher at We Research It, Ltd. She is also a member of the he UK and Ireland Social Research Association. Her main interests are in research methods and research ethics (including those dealing with inequalities in social care and in research representation) . In teaching, she aims to promote ethical thinking and decision-making. Impressively, she has taught postgraduate students and university staff in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Canada, Australia and Syria. Dr. Kara holds MS and Ph.D. degrees in social research methods, and studied social psychology at the London School of Economics. She is currently co-writing three books on creative research methods and on creative writing in research.
