Biography: 

Currently, I am an adjunct professor of religion studies and teaching Spirituality & Healing. My article, The Ascetic Life of the Ultrarunner, is published in the fall 2018 issue of Spiritus: A Journal of Christian Spirituality. I was a writing center director and a lecturer of first-year writing and rhetoric, and academic ESL. I am the author of English for Pharmacy Writing and Oral Communication. I have published on spirituality and healing. I have been teaching in higher education almost 25 years and running ultramarathons (50 mile, 100K (62 miles), 100 mile and 24 hour endurance runs) since 2005.
