Daniel S. Brown earned his Ph.D. in English, with a specialization in Victorian British Literature, from the University of Florida in 2012. He worked as a Visiting Instructor at the University of South Florida in Tampa from 2012-2015. Since then he has worked as an adjunct instructor at several universities and colleges, including the University of Toledo, and Oakland Community College. His research interests include realism, Pre-Raphaelitism, masculinities, and the interactions between verbal and visual representation.
