The Independent Scholar Quarterly (TISQ) takes exclusive first publication rights, and reserves the non-exclusive right to publish, publicize, reproduce, and disseminate all accepted submissions in all languages, in all countries, in all current or future media. Authors retain copyright, and, after their work has been published in The Independent Scholar Quarterly, authors may use their work in any way they wish (including the rights to reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display works from the article; the right to prepare derivative works from the article; and the right to authorize others to make any non-commercial use of the article), so long as the author receives credit as the author and the rights of The Independent Scholar Quarterly are not infringed, and TISQ’s full bibliographic record, including a link to its on-line editions, is cited as the source of first publication of the article. NCIS and The Independent Scholar Quarterly acknowledge all Fair Use rights. Requests for permission to re-use articles should be sent directly to the authors.
